Do Scratch | Droog Design | 2002

A black lamp that users can draw or scratch the surface of, and thus liberate areas for the light to shine through. The way the project and concept were developed could be registered in DwP. The design process was simply an email, sent to Renny Ramakers and Gijs Bakker of Droog Design, saying: buy a standard square wall lamp from Phillips (Holland) and paint it matte black. It was done, and the Do Scratch lamp was born, consisting of a black lamp that scratches the light.
