Autoband | Galeria H2O Barcelona | 1998

Autoband was the first of the three classic adhesive tapes I designed, and was born in reaction to a commission from the Galeria H2O Barcelona to create a toy. This tape is a product of my fascination with the idea that the first experimental length of motorway is the AVUS (Automobil Verkehrs und Uebungsstrecke) which I frequently travel along in my comings and goings from Berlin.
