Design without Project is the second book in the collection Unevaluated Essays edited by Martí Guixé. The series brings together theories, and essays, to speculate and anticipate, and to understand and react the incipient society of disorder that is emerging in these early years of 21st century.

EXCERPT of Chapter 1: Flips on the tongue (pp. 22-23).
"Between late 2008 and mid-2012, and closer to [Gordon] Brown nervous babblings than to [Mario] Draghi’s serene authority, I too made a plan to save the world. Perhaps to save the world from the design of the world, or from the designed world. Or to save the world of design from a world without design, and perhaps without any other kind of regulation, a world that seemed, then as now, to be just around the corner. Or perhaps to save design thanks to the advent of a new world born of surpassing the failures of the recent past. Or, on the contrary, to save the world thanks to the transformative capacity of design. Who knows if to save myself – or some chosen few, or all existing beings and things – both from design and from the world. Or even to save myself, and my indefinable and unquantifiable court of relevant others, from everything that might happen beyond design and the world."
